In this simulation you control all traffic in the Wellington area, from Market Drayton Junction on the GWR/LMS joint line to Shrewsbury to Hadley Junction on the LMS Stafford line and Ketley Junction on the GWR Wolverhampton line. The simulation is set before nationalisation had brought much in the way of changes. Most services in the area continued largely as they had done for decades past, though the Coalport line lost its passenger service a year ago. Traffic was marshalled at the Wellington and Hadley Junction yard, and the latter also served the major industrial complex at Castle Works. The shunting of both goods and passenger traffic will keep you very busy at times; trains may have short turn-round times at Wellington. The nature of the traffic changes somewhat on a Saturday, with extras to the Cambrian coast resorts, and less goods traffic during the day. Sunday is rather quieter. This simulation has four track screens.
